Super Sunday Run for The Woods – Friends of Seminole State Forest event was Super Fun!

For the second year, on Super Bowl Sunday, George Koutsakis, Director of Friends of Seminole State Forest and Cordell Jeter, Owner of EcoRover Chairs put on a great track chair event that put smiles on many faces.  Many of the event’s volunteers came from Orlando Health. Robert Melia, Spinal Cord Injury Network Coordinator for Orlando Health tried out a 39.5-inch EcoRover Chair at the event.  “It’s really great to see another good turnout and the weather was great!” Says Cordell Jeter, “We are very grateful to George and Bob (Melia) for a great day.” 

In November of 2023 George Koutsakis brought a new EcoRover Chair program to Blue Spring State Park in Florida through coordinating efforts with Florida State Rep. Rachel Plakon and Greg Pauch of the Mesara Family Foundation.  On behalf of the people enjoying EcoRover Chairs, thank you “Super George” for your kind and generous efforts.
